Apple's next big update: Ads on iPhones, but not the way you think

Apple already displays ads on the Apple App Store and in-house News and Stocks apps to help third-party developers to promote their software.
Apple iPhones are known to offer a clean interface with no unnecessary third-party apps called bloatware. iPhones do include a bunch of proprietary apps like Podcasts, Maps, News, Music, Messages, and so more, but users have the option to delete most of them. However, a report by Apple analyst and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman notes that Apple is looking at new avenues to expand revenue. What’s the easiest solution to increase revenue? One word – advertisements.
The report notes that more Apple proprietary apps could show ads very soon. The company already displays ads on the Apple App Store and in-house News and Stocks apps to help third-party developers to promote their software. This is across iPhones, Macs, and iPads.
