Earlier this month, Twitter had told advertisers that its daily user growth has hit an “all-time high” after Musk’s takeover even as several advertisers left the platform amid internal chaos.
Twitter has added new users vigorously after tech titan Elon Musk acquired the company and privatized it. While several factors including wide-scale job cuts and internal changes, as well as the pullback of the advertisers plagued the microblogging platform, it has not stopped being the magnet of users to express their opinions, data shows.
Elon Musk has now said that microblogging platform may exceed one billion monthly users in the next 12 to 18 months. “I think I see a path to Twitter exceeding a billion monthly users in 12 to 18 months,” Musk said in a tweet.
