The singer recently appeared at the 2023 Oscars to perform his nominated song, shared with Son Lux and Mitski, in the A24 drama Everything Everywhere All at Once, and was announced to be doing the music for John Mulaney’s anticipated Netflix comedy special. Now, Byrne is putting on his iconic big suit from the ’80s in a trailer for the upcoming re-release of the Talking Heads concert film, Stop Making Sense.
A24 announced today that they are bringing Jonathan Demme’s acclaimed 1984 Talking Heads concert film back to theaters worldwide. The indie studio said that the film has been “newly remastered in 4K.”
The news was accompanied by a trailer which featured Byrne picking up his famed suit from the dry cleaners.
“Hi, I’m picking up,” he says to the cashier while handing him a torn and crumpled bill. “It’s been here for a while,” the singer explains.
