Israel’s attacks on Iran could not have come soon enough. According to recent Israeli intelligence, following the October 7 massacre, Iran had secretly divided its scientists into “several working groups” to work on developing a nuclear bomb, and a recent breakthrough in research put it weeks away from weaponization.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran already has enough uranium for nine bombs. To pre-empt yet another genocidal attack on the Jewish State, Israel struck Iran. While Israel skipped an opportunity to kill the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, on Friday to allow him to yield, in just a few days, Israel has significantly degraded the threat. First, Israel has dealt significant damage to Iran’s nuclear sites. The Natanz nuclear site may have imploded due to Israeli strikes. Israel has struck the Natanz nuclear site on Sunday night through Monday, following reports that Israel had already “critically damaged” it. Known damage includes the destruction of the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant (PFEP) underground enrichment halls and approximately 14,000 centrifuges.
Israeli attacks have also damaged four “critical buildings” in the Esfahan Nuclear Technology Center, including the fuel plate fabrication plant and the uranium conversion facility used to produce nuclear fuel. Israel also struck the Fordow nuclear facility, hitting the above-ground structures, while below-ground cascades and centrifuges appear not to have been hit. However, both Israel and the United States are confident that they can strike Fordow below ground if needed. Israel has also struck Parachin.
