Preorder the $60 Lego Game Boy now ahead of an Oct. 1 launch. It’s sadly not playable.
If you miss Nintendo’s original Game Boy, you can own it again, this time in Lego form.
Nintendo is reviving the iconic handheld from the 1990s as a buildable Lego model. On Wednesday, the company kicked off preorders for the $59.99 set.
The Lego model has been designed to a „near 1:1“ scale with the original Game Boy, which attracted tens of millions of sales worldwide after its initial launch in Japan in 1989.
The Lego model includes 421 pieces and “comes with all the memorable features, the +Control Pad, A and B Buttons, and SELECT and START, alongside other iconic Game Boy details, such as the contrast adjustment and volume dial,” Nintendo says.
