MADISON, Wisc. — Michigan will turn to fifth-year senior quarterback John O’Korn to lead the offense again.
Redshirt freshman Brandon Peters was carted off the field at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday after taking a hit with 2:12 left in the third quarter.

Wisconsin linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel laid the hit, knocking Peters from the game and leaving him laying on the field for several minutes.
He was finally able to sit up, trainers all around and head coach Jim Harbaugh conversing with him, and taken off the field. Peters appeared to be favoring his arm or shoulder, though it’s unclear at this point what the injury was.
Before going down, Peters was 9 of 18 for 157 yards passing. He fumbled the football with 8:42 left in the first quarter.
Michigan (8-2,5-2 Big Ten) will now rely on O’Korn, who lost the starting job three weeks ago in a win over Rutgers. He has a strong arm and the ability to scramble, but has turnover prone this season.
In seven games, O’Korn has completed 55 percent of his passes for 742 yards and a touchdown, and five interceptions.
Peters is the second Michigan quarterback to be knocked out of a game this season. Junior Wilton Speight, who won the quarterback job out of preseason camp, suffered a fracture vertebrae in a Sept. 23 win at Purdue.
