Drake proved to be the most popular of all artists, according to Business Insider. That’s not surprising given Drake’s streaming records for both Apple and Spotify streaming services.
For Utah, another hip-hop artist led the way — Eminem.
The Detroit rapper also topped lists in Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming.
Eminem ranked ahead of Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Twenty One Pilots in the Beehive State.
Drake, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Meghan Trainor and G-Eazy finished out the top 10 within Utah, according to Business Insider.
A Spotify musical map released last year revealed the most popular songs in 1,000 cities, according to Quartz, creating a playlist for each of those cities.
Songs from James The Mormon, BYU Vocal Point and The National Parks dominated the list.
No Eminem song appeared on that list.
