A San Antonio man has been arrested after police said he wrote on Facebook that he would drive down the city’s strip and „kill all of you on sight.“
Roderick Lamar Robinson, 39, was apprehended in Oklahoma on a charge of making a terrorist hoax as well as an outstanding drug-possession warrant. San Antonio police said he face a charge of making a terroristic threat when he is returned to Bexar County.
A string of threatening posts was made on a Facebook account connected to Robinson on Tuesday.
In one, he says he’s driving back to San Antonio with „guns loaded.“
„I’ll be up for days an will shoot anyone who comes back over here an I will drive down the strip I will find out who did it an will kill all of you on sight,“ he writes, adding that „no one is safe on the strip.“
In another, since-deleted post, he said he planned to „cut off the San Antonio strip forevermore no one will go there again.“ Referring to the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas, he wrote that „that strip needs to be done like more than vages [sic],“ KSAT-TV reported.
In later posts, however, he apologizes, saying that he’s high and just misses the strip, a stretch of North Main Avenue with several bars.
San Antonio police said they alerted businesses in the area Tuesday evening and took additional security precautions once they were made aware of the posts.
Authorities say Robinson was in the Oklahoma City area when he made the posts.
Robinson was being held Wednesday in the Oklahoma County jail.
