A blast from the past will have not one, but two rare concerts in Michigan as Talking Heads lead singer David Byrne will perform in Detroit and Grand Rapids.
DETROIT AND GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A blast from the past will have not one, but two rare concerts in Michigan as Talking Heads lead singer David Byrne will perform in Detroit and Grand Rapids.
Byrne will bring a twelve-piece band with him to the Fox Theatre on Friday, August 10 and to DeVos Hall on Wednesday, August 8,2018. It’s part of a huge world tour for Byrne, which begins in March.
Tickets starting at $44.50 go on sale on Friday, January 19 at 11am. This tour is in support of Byrne’s new album, „American Utopia,“ scheduled for release on March 9.

Byrne, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Talking Heads in 2002, will perform songs from the new album and Talking Heads classics fans know and love like „Burning Down the House,“ „Psycho Killer,“ „Once in a Lifetime,“ „And She Was“ and „Wild Wild Life.“
