Even though there is no confirmation about the availability of the devices, the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are expected to hit the shelves next month.
HTC has launched two new mid-range smartphones — HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+. While the Desire 12 comes at a starting price of EUR 185, the Desire 12+ starts at EUR 235. Both devices will be available in Black and Silver colour options. The duo boast of an 18:9 aspect ratio display.
Talking about the Desire 12 first, this handset has a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display of 720×1440 pixels resolution. The device comes in two storage options of 16GB storage with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with 3GB RAM. There os also a microSD card if users wish to expand the storage. Powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, this device is backed by a 2730mAh battery. For camera, it includes a 13MP rear module of f/2.2 aperture with Phase-Detection Autofocus, HDR mode, BSI sensor, etc and a 5MP front MP sensor of F/2.4 aperture. It runs on Android (version unspecified) with HTC Sense layer on the top. Interestingly, this handset does not feature a fingerprint sensor.

Moving on, the HTC Desire 12+ has a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display of 720 x 1440p resolution. It offers the same storage variants as the HTC Desire 12. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and is backed by a 2965mAh battery. Also, there is a dual rear camera setup of 13MP+2MP with bokeh mode and Phase-Detection Autofocus, Face detection, Panoramic mode and more. On the front, the Desire 12+ has an 8MP camera with F/2.0 aperture fashion beauty that also has face unlock detection. The Desire 12+ has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Both handsets offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, Micro-USB, GPS, and GLONASS as connectivity options.
Even though there is no confirmation about the availability of the devices, the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are expected to hit the shelves next month.
