“Xiaomi India has partnered with KreditBee to offer a loan of up to Rs 1,00,000 to its users in India”
Xiaomi has launched its Mi Credit service in India in collaboration with KreditBee. Available only for Xiaomi MIUI users, the service allows the brand’s subscribers to avail personal loans ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,00,000. The brand says that Mi Credit is the third value-added service for its Indian users after the Mi Music and Mi Video, which were introduced earlier this month.
The Xiaomi Mi Credit service in the country is an “instant personal loan platform for young professionals,” says the brand. The brand company claims that the loan can be initiated in less than 10 minutes with a simple KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
Manu Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India said, “Xiaomi provides internet services to give our users a complete mobile internet experience, and MIUI functions as an open platform for us to deliver our wide range of internet services, such as content, entertainment, financial services and productivity tools. The connectivity between our devices and the seamless integration between hardware and internet services enable us to provide our users with better user experience. Mi Credit is another big step in bringing an important internet service to India and we trust that our users would be able to truly benefit as the service becomes more sophisticated”.
As we mentioned, the Xiaomi Mi Credit service is available only for MIUI users. So, those with a stock Android phone, including the Xiaomi Mi A1, won’t be able to avail it.
