Dead Eye is the trademark mechanic for Red Dead Redemption and with Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games is evolving it further. The studio has revealed that over the course of the game, Red Dead Redemption 2 Dead Eye system will expand and becomes more sophisticated.
In a recent Tweet, Rockstar Games revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 Dead Eye system will not only allow players to mark multiple targets but, as the game progresses, will reveal enemy weak spots and more. This will make players more accurate with their weapons.
Aside from Red Dead Redemption 2 Dead Eye system, Rockstar has also revealed that holsters are much more than just weapon carriers. As noted by the devs, holsters in the game will allow players to dual-wield and the upgraded ones will protect weapons from degradation.

Furthermore, Microsoft has revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will render at native 4K on Xbox One X. However, it is still unclear it will be a true 4K experience or the game will be using dynamic resolution.
As the game is getting closer to its release, Rockstar Games is very confident about its title. The studio has noted that the game has the deepest open-world ever featured in a video game.
Furthermore, young John Marston will be voiced by his original voice actor. Being a prequel the game will feature John Marston and Rob Wiethoff is returning to lend his voice.
