Celine Dion is delightfully unpredictable, and it makes for excellent television.
The pop superstar flipped the conceit of James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” on its head during Monday’s CBS prime-time special. The “Late Late Show” host picked up the singer at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where she’s wrapping up her longtime residency, and she enthusiastically joined in with “a song for every moment.”
Though artists are in on the “Carpool” gag, Dion took it to another level as she gleefully burst into a series of songs with little prompt.
