The studio behind award-winning titles like Psychonauts and Brutal Legend, Double Fine Productions, is now a first-party Microsoft Studio. Psychonauts 2 is also now published by Microsoft.
Today during the Xbox E3 Briefing, Microsoft announced another developer that’s joining its first-party studio list under the Xbox Game Studios name, and that is the award-winning Double Fine Productions.
Studio founder Tim Schafer himself arrived on stage to announce the news, and also revealed Psychonauts 2’s first ever gameplay trailer, seen above.
