The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol continue to investigate the crash.
Police have identified the 20-year-old woman who was killed in a Polk County crash Friday. Around 10:30 a.m., Lily Macke of Grimes was traveling southbound on Iowa Highway 141 before her vehicle crossed the median and was struck by a northbound tractor-trailer, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
