Kevin Strickland, 62, was released from prison Tuesday.
A Missouri man who spent 43 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit will not receive any money from the state. He will, however, receive over $1.4 million from a GoFundMe set up by the Missouri Innocence Project. Kevin Strickland, now 62, was released from prison Tuesday, bringing an end to one of the longest unjust sentences in U.S. history.
