The Atlanta-raised R&B singer will perform at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in February 2024.
It’s Usher’s time to shine on the NFL stage. The 44-year-old singer and songwriter will headline the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, presented by Apple AAPL Music, during the big game on February 11, 2024.
The Atlanta-raised R&B singer will perform at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking the first time the Super Bowl will take place in that city. Usher follows Rihanna, who performed at the 2023 Super Bowl and became the most-watched halftime performer in history with 121.017 million viewers, according to Billboard.
Other Super Bowl acts in recent years include Eminem, Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige (2022), The Weeknd (2021) and Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Emme Muniz (2020).
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement, according to Billboard.
