At spring training Thursday morning in Fort Myers, right-handed pitcher Walker Buehler responded to questions about the Red Sox’ new addition, infielder Alex Bregman.
“Ever since I’ve seen him play he’s been one of the better players on the field,” said Buehler. “Starting at LSU as a freshman, so you know he’s continued that over and is a very confident player. He’s a guy I think will handle Boston well hopefully and has played really well at Fenway. So yeah I’m excited.”
Bregman played for LSU between 2013 and 2015 before being drafted as the second overall pick in the MLB draft.
