‘Tis the season for spooks and scares. Halloween season is
approaching, and many in the Triangle are getting in the holiday spirit for a
night of candy and thrills.

5 Points Nightmare
Take a walk through this haunted yard filled with large
animatronics, singing pumpkins and skeletons. There is something for everyone
to enjoy.
“We wanted something that the kids love to come to, that
just inspired fun and a little scary, but not too scary,” said Nicole Licato.
She and her fiancé transform their yard each year for the
community to enjoy.
On Halloween, the couple plans to have music, full-sized
candy bars and hot cider for all to enjoy. There will also be some live
creatures roaming the yard, so put on your brave face.
The display is free to the public, although guests can leave
donations to support local organizations that care for cats.
Oakwood Halloween
The Oakwood Halloween is a spooky staple in the Raleigh
community.
The historic neighborhood is a favorite for
trick-or-treaters and all the Halloween lovers. The entire neighborhood joins
in on the fun with homes and yards decorated with life-sized characters and
Halloween décor.
