Six Batman games from the Arkham and LEGO series have arrived to EA’s subscription service Origin Access, marking the first time that games from another major publisher has appeared on the program.
Since its inception, Origin Access has offered a large selection of games – primarily EA published ones – for a monthly fee to PC users, from high profile titles like Battlefield 1 to indies such as Oxenfree. And today, EA announced that the Origin Access library has been expanded to include six games from Warner Bros, specifically Batman games.
This marks the first time that games from another major publisher have arrived on the service. However, that’s not all, as EA will also be bringing in five additional games to Origin Access in the coming weeks. The full list of games can be seen below:
The new additions seem to be exclusive to Origin Access, with its Xbox One counterpart, EA Access, not receiving any of these new games. Which is to be expected, as EA Access only provide games that were published by EA or by a subsidiary of it.
EA is also introducing a 7-day Origin Access free trial for those who’ve yet to try it, giving unlimited access to all games in the program, as well as to the Origin store discount during the allotted time. The trial will be available until March 26.
