\nAKIPRESS. COM – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with representatives of such Japanese corporations as ITOCHU, Marubeni, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Sojitz, MUFG Bank, Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTD and others as part of his official visit to Japan, the president\u2019s press service reports.
Rahmon invited Japanese businesses to visit Tajikistan to explore the country\u2019s investment opportunities.
President Rahmon referred to the Tajik-Japanese pharmaceutical venture Avvalin in Tajikistan as example of investment cooperation.
He said Tajikistan is ready for cooperation with Japan Association for Trade with Russia and NIS (ROTOBO) and other Japanese corporations.<\/p>\n
