\nIt’s almost showtime!
In less than a few days, our favorite models will be taking the runway on your television screens for one of the biggest nights of the year: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Not unexpectedly, a lot of preparation goes into the celebrity-studded event. Workouts, facials and dieting all ramp up in the days leading up to the show — but backstage is where the magic happens. Manicurists, makeup artists (lead by Charlotte Tilbury) and hairstylists are all on deck for the annual lingerie extravaganza, helping the girls get catwalk-ready for the magical night.
No matter if it’s their first time walking a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show or their 18th time, all the models were feeling the excitement in the few hours before the show.
„I’m really excited to be here,“ explained Victoria’s Secret newbie Myrthe Bolt. „Now it’s getting real.“
Winnie Harlow, who will also be walking in her first VS show, shared Myrthe’s excitement. „It’s my first Victoria’s Secret show!“ Winnie said. „It’s a pinnacle in every single model’s career, so I’m nervous… I have so many friends around and it makes it feel comfortable and fun.“
She continued, „But I’m sure we’ll all be working up a lot of nerves when it’s time to hit the runway.“
Even for Victoria’s Secret veteran Adriana Lima, who is about to mark her 18th show, the novelty and nerves never die down. „I thought that after so many years you would get used to it and not be as nervous. But I still get as nervous as my first show!“
Adriana is just one of the Angels to look forward to tonight. Sara Sampaio, Martha Hunt, Josephine Skriver and Jasmine Tookes will join top models such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Winnie Harlow on this year’s runway.
