\u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d hosted the guys on Monday night, hours after they announced a reunion album and tour.

Hootie & the Blowfish\u2019s 1994 debut album, \u201cCracked Rear View\u201d is the 19th-best-selling album of all time in the United States, and was certified platinum 21 times. The release included four hit singles: \u201cOnly Wanna Be With You,\u201d \u201cLet Her Cry,\u201d \u201cHold My Hand\u201d and \u201cTime.\u201d
In 1996, the guys won both of the Grammys for which they were nominated: Best New Artist, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for \u201cLet Her Cry.\u201d They also won an MTV Video Music Award and were nominated for two others.
Hootie & the Blowfish went on hiatus in 2008 so that lead singer Rucker could pursue a solo career. The band reunited here and there on special occasions.<\/p>\n
