According to Hello boss Sean Murray, the game is an adventure about \u201ca lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home.\u201d It\u2019s set in a wilderness of \u201clost folk, strange creatures and mysterious ruins.\u201d
The Last Campfire is being created by Hello employees Chris Symonds and Steven Burgess, who previously made LostWinds for Frontier Developments. That game, released a decade ago, is a cartoon platformer with puzzle elements. The game is being billed as a Hello Games Short. Murray said it\u2019s like \u201cPixar shorts\u2026 a way to foster creativity and new voices.\u201d Although a trailer has been released, no details have been shared by Hello on platforms or release date.
No Man\u2019s Sky is one of the most notable game releases of the past few years, and put Hello Games on the development map. Much hyped prior to launch, the space exploration game released in 2016 to general critical disappointment, and vociferous consumer pushback.
