The 15-minute musical is described as an „inspired celebration of Meghan Markle’s life to date“.<\/b>
\nMeghan Markle and Prince Harry \u2018s life is set to be made into a BBC radio musical comedy show.
The broadcaster has announced the program called \u201cThe Sixth In Line To Be King And I\u201d will air on New Year\u2019s Day.
The \u201cRodgers and Hammerstein-inspired\u201d piece, on Radio 4, will look at Meghan\u2019s life and her future, as she expects her first child with Harry.
The 15-minute musical is described as an \u201cinspired celebration of Meghan Markle\u2019s life to date.\u201d
It will also \u201clook ahead to what promises to be an exciting 2019 for the happy royal couple as they expect their first child in the spring\u201d.
Pippa Evans will play Meghan, while Richie Webb and Dave Lamb have also been cast.
It is one of two episodes of the \u201c15 Minute Musicals\u201d series.
The first, \u201cEurostars,\u201d airs on New Year\u2019s Eve and features a Eurovision Song Contest-style performance from \u201cour non-Brexit-obsessed counterparts on the continent as they look back on their action-packed 2018.\u201d
Songs could include \u201cBoom Bang-a-Barnier\u201d and \u201cSave Your Lira For Me.\u201d
The mini-musicals were announced as part of the Christmas and New Year highlights on BBC Sounds.
Other shows include Christmas specials of \u201cThat Peter Crouch Podcast\u201d and \u201cFortunately With Fi And Jane.\u201d
In \u201cSurrogacy: A Family Frontier,\u201d screenwriter Dustin Lance Black investigates UK attitudes towards surrogacy in a new podcast series for BBC Radio 5 Live.
Lance and his husband, British Olympic diver Tom Daley, became parents in June to a baby born via a surrogate.
Domestic goddess Nigella Lawson will \u201ctalk life, death, and roast chicken\u201d in \u201cThe Food Programme\u201d on Radio 4.
There will also be interviews with the likes of Courtney Love, Bob Marley, Madonna, David Bowie and Adele from the BBC Archive.
