Although some Republicans have had enough of Robert Mueller’s investigation into the campaign of President Donald Trump, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) stated that he thinks the investigation should run its course.<\/b>
\nAlthough some Republicans have had enough of special counsel Robert Mueller \u2018s investigation into the 2016 campaign of President Donald Trump, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) thinks the probe should run its course \u2014 and that it could end well for the president.
Several Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, have made protecting the investigation a top priority.
Although Schumer and Rubio seem to be hoping for drastically different outcomes, both believe that the best thing for the United States is for the investigation to play out fully.
Rubio told ABC News on Sunday he believes there is a chance that the Mueller investigation will fully clear President Trump, removing the Russian cloud from over his presidency.

\u201cWe have a presumption in this country that you have to go out and prove these things. That said, I\u2019ve always wanted there to be the truth. What we want for this country is all the facts and all the truth. I\u2019ve always supported the Mueller investigation and continue to do so because I think it\u2019s in the best interest of everyone involved, including, by the way, the president on many of these issues.\u201d
Rubio stated that he is proud of the work being conducted on every level, including within the Senate Intelligence Committee:
\u201cSo I think it\u2019s important for that work to go and continue to move forward and once the American people have before them all the facts and information, then we can begin to make political judgments about this. The same is true of the intelligence probe we conducted before the Senate. I\u2019m very proud of the work the intelligence committee has done. It has not been partisan. In fact, some of the things we\u2019ve seen released have caused the committee to go back and attempt to reinterview some people.\u201d
The senator noted that he thinks that Americans are doing themselves a disservice by rushing to conclusions about the investigation before viewing the full report:
\u201cHere soon, the American people are going to have before them the report of the Senate Intelligence Committee, whatever findings the special prosecutor has moving forward, and then we can make some judgments about what can happen next.\u201d
So far, it isn\u2019t clear how the president will fair at the end of the investigation. As Rubio noted, all the facts must be concluded before anyone will know what lies ahead for President Trump and the American election system.<\/p>\n
