Cardi B and husband Offset have split up, and social media users have had mixed reactions to the news.
After a flurry of speculation as to whether Cardi B and Offset broke up to drum up publicity for their music, the former took to Instagram Live to set the record straight. In the video, Cardi assured fans that the split is real and that she has no plans to patch things up anytime soon.
\u201cWe fell in love with each other,\u201d she explains in the video. \u201cThings was not always gravy \u2018cuse at the end of the day we are two different people. But we never did anything for f*cking publicity b*tch you think I got pregnant, could\u2019ve ruined my f*cking career for publicity? Cardi went on to discuss the fact that she would do it all over again if given a chance. \u201cA lot of people are saying I moved too fast, maybe I did maybe I didn\u2019t, I don\u2019t know,\u201d she admitted. \u201cBut, you know, sh*t happens. People fall in love, people get married, people have kids. I don\u2019t regret anything \u2018cuse at the end of the day I have my daughter and she\u2019s beautiful, gorgeous, funny, I love her. It\u2019s the best thing, I learned a lot.\u201d
Cardi also goes on to credit Offset with helping elevate her music career, and teach her aspects of the industry. \u201cI ain\u2019t really know much from the music industry, and you know, my husband helped me, he made me wiser, he let me open my eyes to a lot of things,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd even though we not together anymore I learned a lot.\u201d

Rumors of Offset\u2019s infidelity plagued his marriage to Cardi B. After their split was made official, two rappers named Cuban Doll and Summer Bunni were linked to Offset and a potential threesome he orchestrated during Cardi\u2019s pregnancy. While Cuban Doll denied ever communicating with the Migos star, Summer Bunni issued an emotional apology via TMZ. \u201cI feel ashamed,\u201d she said. \u201cYou know like growing up it\u2019s a lot, but I\u2019m just coming from me to Cardi B and to like her fans\u2026 these were never my intentions and I never wanted to break up a happy home.\u201d
