A pedestrian is dead Wednesday night after being struck by a car in north Houston, police said.<\/b>
\nA pedestrian is dead Wednesday night after being struck by a car in north Houston, police said.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of North Shepherd Drive near West Montgomery Road.
Witnesses told police that a red sedan struck a person near that intersection. The pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating.
