\nWe’ve seen lots of rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S10, which will be among the first smartphone to launch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor (at least in the United States). Rumors have hinted that there would be multiple S10 versions with an entry-level S10 packing 4GB of RAM, an S10 Plus with 6GB of RAM, S10 X with 6GB of RAM, and a version of the S10 with 12GB of RAM and 5G connectivity. A new rumor is now making the rounds, and this one is a bit scary.
According to this new rumor, the S10 will launch with an insanely high price for the higher-end models. On the deep end of the S10 range is tipped an S10 Plus with 1TB of storage inside for a whopping $1,765. It’s rather hard to stomach that sort of price and storage capacity considering you can add microSD cards if more storage is what you need. The crazy expensive $1,765 device is presumed to be the special edition version that is rumored to have 5G connectivity, 6.7-inch screen, and six total cameras.
Stepping down a rung, the rumor claims an S10 Plus with 512GB of storage will cost $1,386, and an S10 Plus with 128GB of storage will be $1,134. The smaller S10 with 512GB of storage is tipped at $1,260, the S10 with 128GB of storage is tipped at $1,007, and the entry-level S10 Lite is rumored to sell for around $881. Those prices make the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition packing 10GB of RAM for $699 seem like a bargain.
As for screen sizes, the S10 Lite will supposedly pack a 5.8-inch screen with the mainline S10 using a 6.1-inch display. All of the smartphones are said to feature in-display fingerprint sensors and will skip the maligned notch in favor of a pinhole for the front camera to snap through. This new rumor pegs a February 20 launch date for the S10 family.<\/p>\n
