\nDisney+ is here for all your Summer Movie Night needs. This Friday, Disney+ will be launching a weekly summer film series showcasing the platform\u2019s new original movies, blockbuster hits, and Disney classics. The Disney+ Summer Movie Nights lineup features films for the whole family, including Lin-Manuel Miranda\u2019s Hamilton, Pixar\u2019s Incredibles 2, and even The Peanuts Movie.
The Disney+ Summer Movie Nights campaign begins this week with the release of Hamilton, a live taping of Lin-Manuel Miranda\u2019s 2016 musical, and Emilio Estevez\u2019s The Mighty Ducks. Both films will be debuting that day, so Disney is encouraging viewers to settle in for a double-header of epic proportions. What could be better than not one, but two underdog stories?
Subsequent Fridays will see the release of Summer Movie Nights titles including X-Men: Apocalypse, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. These summertime releases will continue through Friday, September 4, the weekend of Labor Day.
