„I don’t think I’m going to lose at all.“<\/b>
\nPresident Donald Trump is not yet willing to commit to accept the results of the presidential election if he loses in November.
Fox News\u2019 Chris Wallace asked Trump if he would give a direct answer to whether he would accept the results, and he said, \u201cI have to see. No, I\u2019m not going to just say yes. And I didn\u2019t last time either.\u201d
Wallace also asked the president \u201chow crushing\u201d it would be if he lost the election, Trump said, \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to lose at all.\u201d
Trump went on to say that people should not write off his chances of mounting a successful comeback and winning re-election.
Finally, Wallace asked Trump if he is a \u201cgood loser.\u201d
Trump said, \u201cI\u2019m not a good loser. I don\u2019t like to lose. I don\u2019t lose too often.\u201d When asked if he is gracious in defeat, Trump said, \u201cYou don\u2019t know until you see \u2014 it depends.\u201d
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden (D) has previously speculated that if Trump lost, he would not peacefully leave the White House, as IJR reported.
In June, Biden said he believes the military will have to \u201cescort\u201d Trump from the White House if he lost the election, \u201cI promise you: I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch.\u201d
However, Trump\u2019s campaign blasted Biden for his comments. In an interview, Trump campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh said, \u201cThis is just another brainless conspiracy theory from Joe Biden as he continues to try to undermine confidence in our elections.<\/p>\n
