\nBlink-182\u2019s Mark Hoppus has announced that he has cancer. On Wednesday, the 49-year-old musician alarmed fans when he shared a photo of himself on Instagram sitting in what looks to be a hospital setting with an IV in his arm. Alongside it he wrote, \u201cHello, yes. One cancer treatment please.\u201d The photo was quickly deleted but not before concerned fans took a screenshot. Hours later, Hoppus confirmed the sad news on Twitter, writing, \u201cFor the past three months I\u2019ve been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. I have cancer. It sucks and I\u2019m scared, and at the same time I\u2019m blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this. \u201cI still have months of treatment ahead of me but I\u2019m trying to remain hopeful and positive,\u201d he continued. \u201cCan\u2019t wait to be cancer-free and see you all at a concert in the hopefully near future. Love to you all.\u201d Blink-182 was formed in California in 1992 and became MTV darlings with songs like \u201cAll The Small Things\u201d and \u201cWhat\u2019s My Age Again?\u201d Their musical style, a fusion of pop music and traditional punk rock, made them huge stars selling over 50 million albums around the world. The band gained considerable attention for their 1999 video for \u201c What\u2019s My Age Again? \u201d that saw the group\u2019s founding members Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge jogging naked in the street.
