\nA listing for Battlefield Mobile has been discovered on the Google Play Store, revealing details and features from EA\u2019s upcoming mobile shooter. Promising \u201clarge-scale battles [and] large-scale destruction\u201d in the marketing images Battlefield Mobile is said to feature \u201call your favorite FPS combat\u201d from the Battlefield series, albeit now from your tiny phone screen, which will apparently make the game \u201cmore thrilling than ever\u201d. Alongside the hopefully expansive maps to destroy, there will also be gadgets and powerful vehicles such as tanks and ATVs that will aid you in your quest for building destruction as they go about \u201cgranting you the capacity for mass warfare.\u201d As you might expect from a modern FPS, Battlefield Mobile will also let you customise your character and their equipment, with the Google Play Store listing saying that \u201cweapons, gadgets, skins and more can be personalized and upgraded to match your class and progress.\u201d With how exceptionally successful Call of Duty: Mobile has been for that franchise, it\u2019s hardly a surprise that Battlefield and EA would want to get in on some of that action, though we\u2019ll have to see if it is a worthy rival once it releases. Sadly Battlefield Mobile is not currently available for download, with EA currently only running a closed series of Android only playtests. While no official release date has been announced yet, it is expected that the game will launch sometime in 2022.<\/p>\n
