In an interview with Fandango posted Saturday, Momoa gave fans some insight on what to expect in his superhero sequel. He noted that the underwater action sequences specifically have \u201cgone on to a whole other level,\u201d but he added that fans will likely get some laughs out of the film too. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of comedy,\u201d Momoa said. \u201cSo, I mean, I giggled reading it.\u201d That said, Momoa also promised a lot of action, which is only enhanced with the evolution in technology that\u2019s happened over the last few years. \u201cThis \u2018Aquaman,\u2019 this time around, I feel like pulling out all the stops, buddy,\u201d Momoa said. \u201cWe all learned something on the first one. It\u2019s exciting because I haven\u2019t made too many sequels. I just know that it\u2019s \u2014 even on the page \u2014 it\u2019s absolutely wonderful. There is so much going on. I think the stakes are a lot higher.\u201d Earlier this month, Momoa wowed fans and colleagues alike when he shared some first look images of his suits for the upcoming \u201cAquaman \u201d sequel on his Instagram. Along with the classic orange-and-green outfit that Aquaman has sported through the decades in his comics, he will also wear a dark blue outfit that looks a bit like it was designed for him by Wayne Enterprises. \u201cSecond round. New suit. More action,\u201d he wrote. Zachary Levi, who plays Shazam in the DCEU, responded to Momoa\u2019s Instagram post, writing, \u201cStealth mode!!!\u201d \u201cHell yeah looking great uso!!!\u201d Dwayne Johnson chimed in, accompanied by a muscle emoji. Johnson will be making his DCEU debut in \u201cBlack Adam,\u201d the \u201cShazam!\u201d spin-off centering on the film\u2019s anti-hero, set to premiere in July 2022.
