TMZ reported that Sagal,67, was hit by a car while crossing the street in Los Angeles on Thursday. According to the outlet, a Tesla driver was making a left turn around 11:40 a.m. local time but didn\u2019t spot the actress and ran into her. TMZ also noted that the unidentified driver was sober and stopped to help Sagal. Sagal was taken to a local hospital where she is currently being treated for non-threatening injuries. A source told TMZ that the Hollywood veteran is \u201cgoing to be OK\u201d and anticipates to be released Friday. An insider later confirmed to Page Six that \u201cshe will be fine and is going home today.\u201d Sagal rose to fame as Peggy Bundy on the iconic sitcom \u201cMarried\u2026 With Children.\u201d Since then, she has appeared on a series of successful TV shows such as \u201c8 Simple Rules,\u201d \u201cShameless,\u201d \u201cSons of Anarchy\u201d and, most recently, \u201cThe Conners.\u201d And if it\u2019s up to Sutter, she will be competing for the mirrorball trophy in no time.<\/p>\n
