The timing is just about right, as the holiday season is almost upon us and more people are getting ready for Black Friday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. So if you use Bring, you’ll be able to find new deals much easier, with the search engine to now show new tags like price drops and sales on certain products. Microsoft says it’ll also try to rate the deals with a dedicated ranking system, so in theory, you’d be able to tell just how big the discount really is. “Deal-conscious shoppers will now see “sales” and “price drops” marked on applicable items, alongside deal rankings that are “good“, „great“, or „epic”. Additionally, shoppers can choose to compare prices across stores or find a product’s price history over time, in just one click! The insights are shown on all items for which we have relevant data,” Microsoft explains. The company says it’s also making it easier for online buyers to find the most popular products that others are shopping for. This feature works globally, Microsoft says, and it should help buyers choose a certain product with confidence, especially if many other people are buying it as well. “Trend-conscious shoppers can now also discover products that are “top viewed,” “highly rated”, or “currently trending” within a category from across the web. This information, aggregated from across the web, helps give savvy shoppers the confidence to make their next purchase,” the company says. And last but not least, Microsoft explains Bing would be able to check the availability of curbside pickup and try out the new Buy Now feature for Amazon products that directly adds items into their Amazon cart without any extra steps.

The search engine is getting better at shopping Microsoft is fully committed to making Microsoft Bing just the right search engine for those who shop online, so the company has announced a series of new features on this front.
