The event will be live streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook, and we’ve included the YouTube video here for you to watch: Microsoft isn’t expected to announce anything new, rather this is a celebration of what has come before and probably a reminder of what’s still to come. However, as VGC reports, there’s evidence suggesting Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer mode is going to launch early. The source code for the game’s official store page includes reference to 6pm on Nov.15 and the term „PreOrderReleaseDate.“ Watching the broadcast may therefore reveal a nice surprise for Halo fans. A Halo announcement makes sense as it’s also the 20th anniversary of the first Halo game (Halo: Combat Evolved) launching on the original Xbox. And you have to wonder how different the Xbox universe would be today if Microsoft hadn’t acquired Bungie in 2000, made Halo an Xbox launch title, and delayed releasing it on PC for two years.<\/p>\n
