We loved big hair, makeup and music,\u201d she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post, calling Naomi\u2019s daughters Ashley and Wynonna her \u201csisters.\u201d \u201cCongratulations Wynonna for you and your mom being inducted into the Hall of Fame yesterday,\u201d Parton,76, continued. \u201cI am sorry I couldn\u2019t be there but I can hear Naomi saying now, \u2018Oh well, a day late and a Dolly short.’\u201d She ended her note with her iconic signature, complete with a butterfly at the end of her name, concluding her message with: \u201cJust know that I will always love you.\u201d Both Naomi and Wynonna were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame Sunday, following Naomi\u2019s passing, reportedly caused by suicide. At the induction ceremony, Ashley and Wynonna appeared, tearing up as they spoke on behalf of their late mother. \u201cI didn\u2019t prepare anything tonight because I knew mom would probably talk the most,\u201d Wynonna,57, said. \u201cI\u2019m gonna make this fast, because my heart\u2019s broken, and I feel so blessed. It\u2019s a very strange dynamic, to be this broken and this blessed.\u201d \u201cMy mama loved you so much \u2014 and I\u2019m sorry that she couldn\u2019t hang on until today,\u201d Ashley,54, added. Fellow country music star Parton was recently nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, despite previously thinking she hadn\u2019t \u201cearned the right\u201d to be amongst the other famed musicians. \u201cI\u2019ll accept gracefully,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ll say \u2018thanks\u2019 and accept that.\u201d<\/p>\n
