If rumours are anything to go by, the Cupertino-based firm has lined up new iPad mini, MacBook Air 15-inch, and 14-inch iPad Pro, along with new iPhones and the Apple Watch series. While it is not confirmed yet, Apple new launches may begin as early as March. Below is a list of Apple products, which the iPhone maker may introduce throughout the year. Since the list is based on rumours and speculations, we would advise you to take it with a grain of salt.
Here’s a quick look at the new Apple products expected to launch in 2023:
Every year, the iPhone is the most anticipated product from Apple. Millions of people look forward to what the next iPhone has to offer in terms of new features and improvements. With the iPhone 15 lineup being no different, Apple is said to reportedly bring USB Type-C on all the new iPhones, namely iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Max, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This move will finally bring the iPhone in line with other Apple products such as the iPad and MacBooks which have been sporting USB-C charging ports for a while now. Another prominent change could be the introduction of Dynamic Island on the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus unlike the vanilla iPhone 14 which retained the notch. As for the optics, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may get a periscope lens for enhanced zoom capabilities while the other models may not see any prominent upgrades.
Coming to the performance side of things, both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may run on the yet-to-be-announced A17 chipset which is tipped to be built on a 3nm process by Apple’s long-term chip supplier, TSMC. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus may pack in Apple’s A16 Bionic which is the same SoC found on the iPhone 14 Pro.
The iPhone 15 lineup is expected to launch in September 2023.
The Apple Watch is another product from Apple that receives yearly upgrades. Rumoured to come in the traditional 41mm and 45mm dials, the Watch Series 9 could reuse the same design from previous generations. With the 49mm Watch Ultra introduced alongside Series 8, it is unlikely the Watch Series 9 will be getting a new variant. Speaking of which, Apple could also bring an upgraded version of the Watch Ultra with improved specifications and even include new sensors for added functionalities.
The Apple Watch Series 9 along with the new Watch Ultra could launch alongside the iPhone 15 series sometime in September 2023.
The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro are due for an upgrade. Both these machines could run on the M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets giving a much-needed performance and efficiency boost. These chipsets will be built on TSMC’s latest 3nm process making Apple one of the first customers to receive orders using the new production line. Besides that, the M2 Max chip is said to use a 12-core CPU and a 38-core GPU.
Both MacBook Pros are expected to be officially launched in an event in March 2023.
For the time first time ever, the MacBook Air could come in a 15-inch variant. Just like the 13.6-inch MacBook Air launched in 2022, the 15-inch model could sport the M2 chip at its core but with a faster clock speed. Besides the slight performance and display size upgrade, this particular MacBook Air is unlikely to receive any significant improvements.
The 15-inch MacBook Air could be unveiled in Spring 2023.
The latest Mac mini was expected to launch alongside the M2-based MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro in 2022. But since that didn’t happen, 2023 could finally be the time we’ll get to see an upgraded Mac Mini hit the stores. As for the form and design, the Mac mini is expected to feature a sturdy plexiglass top panel with an aluminium frame and a magnetic charging connector, as reported previously. A Unified Memory of up to 24GB could also be in tow.
The upgraded Mac mini could launch in late 2023.
Apple could end up launching a brand new variant of the iPad Pro with a 14-inch display. With the current 12.9-inch iPad Pro already rocking the M2 chipset, the new iPad may not witness major performance upgrades since it will be carrying the same chip. Furthermore, the iPad Pro could come with the same display technologies as seen on previous iPads such as a Liquid Retina XDR display and ProMotion for a smooth experience. Lastly, the 14-inch iPad Pro may be made available in both 5G and Wi-Fi variants.
The 14-inch iPad Pro may launch in late 2023.
The last iPad mini was launched in 2021 and since then Apple is yet to refresh the lineup. According to the reports, Apple is developing a new iPad mini that could come with an upgraded processor while retaining the same thin bezel design from the previous generation. The ‘upgraded processor’ here could be the A16 Bionic considering the current iPad mini is powered by the A15 Bionic. Apart from that, the display size, optics, and battery capacity are expected to be unchanged.
The iPad mini 7th generation could make its debut in late 2023.
There are several additional products that could be on the horizon from Apple such as the long overdue iMac, Reality Pro VR headset, and even a HomePod with a screen. Starting with the iMac, despite the introduction of the Mac Studio, there are rumours that a new iMac with an M3 chipset could make its debut by the end of 2023 or early 2024. But again, it’s unlikely a brand-new chip from Apple will make its first appearance on an iMac rather than on a MacBook. So until then, we’ll have to see how it pans out.

Here’s a quick look at the bunch of Apple devices expected to launch in 2023 Apple is set to introduce a bunch of new devices in 2023.
