She said that people were already asking longer questions, diving deeper into complex subjects and uncovering new perspectives \u2014 which means more opportunities for people to discover content from publishers, businesses and creators.Google took its first step with the launch of its gen AI experiment in Search Labs last year, where it said it saw positive feedback, globally and in India, with opted-in users in India appreciating the India-focused features like the and text-to-speech capability.AI Overviews will be rolled out &#8222;gradually over the course of several weeks.&#8220; It said that through their testing in these markets, they found that people prefer using , and they found their search results more helpful. In fact, as part of the testing, Google said it saw that Indian users listen to AI Overviews responses more often than other countries.Google said it is also introducing more ways to check out relevant websites while a user searches, with a new right-hand link display for AI Overviews on desktop \u2013 also accessible on mobile by tapping the site icons on the upper right.
