\nIt’s been an amazing year for video games, with exciting titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Doom: The Dark Ages making a splash. July is no exception, with new releases dropping for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X\/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.
July’s most notable exclusive is Donkey Kong Bananza. The next-gen Nintendo platformer sees the big gorilla teaming up with singer Pauline to smash through an underground world. And if you’re itching for a sports game, consider the new EA Sports College Football 26 or the throwback Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.
Don’t skip over last month’s games, though. Mario Kart World’s multiplayer kart racing mayhem still has me chasing that Knockout Tour high. Meanwhile, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach gave us a tale of post-apocalyptic interconnectedness that only Hideo Kojima could deliver.
