As Trump continued, he claimed that he \u201casked Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune to pass this bill,\u201d noting that it was \u201cthis request\u201d that \u201cthe votes were almost unanimous in favor of passage.\u201d
