It\u2019s an immense pain, difficult to describe and even harder to accept. Nothing prepares us for a loss like this.\u201d
The statement continued, \u201cWe want to wholeheartedly thank each person who lifted up a prayer, sent a message, a word of encouragement, or accompanied us with love during this very difficult time. Every show of love, every thought and every prayer reached us and held us up when we had no strength anymore.\u201d
The message noted that Ramirez \u2014 who had more than 122,000 Instagram followers \u2014 left an \u201cindelible mark\u201d on their lives and hearts, adding that her memory will \u201clive on forever in us.\u201d
\u201cWe deeply appreciate your understanding and ask for respect in this difficult and painful situation as we go through this grieving process as a family,\u201d the statement read.

Mexican newspaper Milenio reported that Enriquez was traveling around 8 a.m. on January 9 from the celebration of the town\u2019s 487th anniversary with the mayor of the southern Mexican town Santa Mar\u00eda Huatulco, Julio C\u00e9sar C\u00e1rdenas Ortega.
A separate outlet, Spanish newspaper 20 Minutos, reported that the vehicle overturned and fell into a ravine that was about 164 feet deep.
After the incident, Ortega released a statement sharing that he had been involved in an accident but was \u201cstable and out of danger.\u201d
Michel shared on January 10 that the influencer was \u201calive and under medical care.\u201d
