\nI only know Catherine O’Hara as Kate McCallister in the first two Home Alone movies and as Gail Lynden in season 2 of The Last of Us, but the two-time Emmy-winning actor was in many beloved films and TV shows through her career that ended up spanning 50 years. That’s why I’m sure tonight’s news will hit many quite hard.
TMZ and Variety have received confirmation that Catherine O’Hara died at the age of 71 today. They’ve been told O’Hara died after a brief illness.
