The 45-year-old former child star was spotted looking subdued as he left a meeting at the UTA Talent Agency in Beverly Hills, Calif., several hours after O\u2019Hara\u2019s death was announced.
Culkin penned a heartwarming tribute to his on-screen mother, with whom he remained close well into adulthood, on Instagram earlier Friday.
\u201cMama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you,\u201d he wrote in the post, which included photos of O\u2019Hara and himself from a scene in the iconic Christmas movie, as a well as during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2024.
\u201cBut I had so much more to say. I love you. I\u2019ll see you later, \u201d Culkin added.
O\u2019Hara died \u201cfollowing a brief illness,\u201d according to her agency, CAA.
The Emmy-award winning \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek\u201d star was 71 years old.
Her exact cause of death remains unclear.
