$\"NewsHub\"$ Microsoft today is releasing the first Creators Update preview to Xbox Insiders that are in the Preview Beta ring. The build in question is 15023.1002, and it was offered to the Preview Alpha ring two days ago .
But while the Alpha ring only got a few fixes out of it, Beta ring members get quite a bit more, because as mentioned above, it’s the first Creators Update build for them. This means that you’ll get a whole new Dashboard.
Home has been redesigned, but perhaps the biggest change is that hitting the Xbox button on your controller no longer brings you to Home. It now brings up the Guide, which has an option to bring you Home.
The new setup is meant to allow you to get where you want to go in less time. In our hands-on with the Creators Update , we found it to be very useful.
The announcement listed some known issues to be aware of in the new build:
If you’ve been selected for the Preview Beta ring, you can get it through Settings -> System -> Console info & updates. If you haven’t been selected for Alpha or Beta, you’ll need to work your way up by completing Quests and Surveys in the Insider Hub.<\/p>\n
