\nAmid President Donald Trump\u2019s threats to both North Korea and Venezuela Friday afternoon, former Defense secretary and CIA director Leon Panetta worried that the president might not realize that he\u2019s not hosting his own show anymore.
Speaking with CNN\u2019s Wolf Blitzer, Panetta said that with the sensitive nature of global defense and foreign policy, Trump\u2019s comments may be further inflammatory.
\u201cConsidering the number of flash points we\u2019 re dealing with in a very dangerous world, \u201d Panetta said, \u201cthe last thing we need is another flash point where we may possibly use military force.\u201d
\u201cThis is not reality TV, \u201d the former military and intelligence official continued. \u201cThis is a situation where you can\u2019 t just talk down to everybody in the world.\u201d
