Biles was on the sideline with her boyfriend, former UM All-American gymnast Stacey Irvin, while also posing for photos at a pre-game tailgate.
ANN ARBOR, MI – Michigan’s football program is no stranger to attracting noted athletes to Michigan Stadium, including Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps and Derek Jeter, to name a few.
Add 2016 Olympic all-around gymnast Simone Biles, who was on hand to see the Wolverines’ 29-13 win over Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Biles was on the sideline with her boyfriend, former UM All-American gymnast Stacey Irvin, while also posing for photos at a pre-game tailgate. The couple also took time to pose for a photo with legendary Michigan softball coach Carol Hutchins.

Biles also won gold medals in the vault and floor exercise in 2016 as part of the gold medal-winning United States women’s gymnastics team dubbed the “Final Five” at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She also is a three-time world all-around champion.
Irvin, who competed at UM from 2013-15, captured a bronze medal for the United States in 2015 on the floor exercise, while also capturing a bronze in the floor exercise at the 2015 NCAA championships.
