NEW DELHI: Xiaomi launched its most expensive smartphone Mi Mix 2
in India in October this year. Launched at Rs 37,999, the smartphone is now available at a flat discount of Rs 5,000 on Flipkart. As part of the limited period offer users can now purchase the device at Rs 32,999.
Apart from the discount, the e-tailer is also offering an exchange of up to Rs 18,000 on the smartphone. The customers can also purchase the Flipakrt buyback guarantee for the smartphone at Rs 99. Those who wish to purchase the device on EMI can go for the no cost EMI option starting at Rs 3,667. There is an instant discount of 10% on SBI credit card and 5% discount on Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders.
Successor to the last year launched Mi Mix, the smartphone is the first bezel-less smartphone of the company in India. The smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2160 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat topped with MIUI 8 layer of the company. The manufacturer also announced that the smartphone will receive Android 8.0 Oreo update by the year end.
The device is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The smartphone features a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, 4-axis OIS and dual tone LED flash. For the selife lovers, the smartphone offers 5MP front facing camera with facial recognition.
Measuring 151.8x 75.5 x7.7 mm, the smartphone comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and ceramic unibidy. The device is backed by a 3400mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. On the connectivity front, the device offers, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C.
