Musician Seal Calls Oprah Winfrey A ‘Part Of The Problem’

Singer Seal took his Instagram on Wednesday and published a fiery post that features two photos of Cecil B. DeMille Award recipient Oprah Winfrey with now disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, whose alleged sexual misconduct scandal prompt #MeToo movement in Hollywood industry and who has been accused of sexual harassment or assault by numerous of women that also included rape.
The photos posted by the musician features a text that reads, “When you have been part of the problem for decades but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”
He captioned the post that Winfrey was aware of Harvey Weinstein scandal. He wrote, “Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young [sic] stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad.” The singer ended his post with the hashtag #SanctimoniousHollywood.
That clearly shows, Oprah is not a champion woman for Seal at all.
Winfrey delivered a powerful and inspiring speech at the 75th annual Golden Globes Award ceremony on January 7, Sunday. The 63-year-old actress and media mogul addressed sexual harassment or assault in Hollywood, she assured the you girls that a “new day is on the horizon” when there will be no victims of sexual misconduct and she pointed to Time’s Up movement in Hollywood.
Winfrey’s powerful Golden Globe speech also addressed speculation that she might run for 2020 presidential election.

“The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah said that Winfrey would be the “perfect opponent” for Trump as “she’s everything that he’s not.”
“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane took his Twitter on Tuesday and wrote, “Oprah is beyond doubt a magnificent orator.” He said, “But the idea of a reality show star running against a talk show host is troublingly dystopian. We don’t want to create a world where dedicated public service careers become undesirable and impractical in the face of raw celebrity.”
